So, what do Governors have to do with X-MAT materials? Well, 2017 has been an interesting year. Before this year, I had never met a governor face-to-face. Now, because of X-MAT, specifically our Coal Core Composite(CCC), we got to meet Governor Matt Mead of Wyoming. Please see the picture. In case you did not know, Wyoming is the largest producer of coal in the US. Finding a use for coal where the coal is not burned and the Coal Core Composite does not burn was of great interest to Governor Mead.
I also got to meet Governor Rick Scott of my home state, Florida. He even presented us a medal due to the work of the X-MAT team. It makes one wonder, what will happen next with X-MAT, doesn’t it? We are looking forward to 2018.
